For health and sports professionals only

The only online hypopressives course taught by its creator

Dr Marcel Caufriez developed the hypopressive technique in the early 1980s. This is the only 100% online course he teaches himself. No middlemen, no second-hand versions, no copies.

Who teaches the course

Dr Marcel Caufriez

This is not a course «based on» his method. It is his method, explained by him.

Before you choose a training course

Not everything taught as hypopressive actually is

The hypopressive method has spread widely, and so have the free interpretations: programmes that are adapted, shortened or reinterpreted, carrying the name but not the content. The difference shows the moment you apply it with a patient.

The training you choose stays on your CV and in the way you work for years. It is worth knowing exactly where it comes from.

If you are going to train in a technique, train with the person who created it.

Training with no traceability

Courses that claim to teach hypopressives but cannot say where their programme comes from or who validates it.

Dates that never fit

Weekend in-person seminars that mean travelling, taking days off and rearranging family life.

At your own pace, from home

You start the same day you enrol. No waiting for an intake and no travelling anywhere.

After the training

What changes in your practice when you finish

The goal is not for you to perform fifteen postures. It is for you to leave with a complete system: assess first, then decide which exercise applies and in what order. That is what separates professional training from an exercise course.

You assess before you prescribe

Assessment tests and the hypopressive algorithm

You learn postural, respiratory, joint and morphological tests, the exclusion criteria and the hypopressive algorithm that orders the decision. You stop choosing exercises by intuition: you choose them from what you have measured in each patient.

You fit it into what you already do

Pelvic floor, postpartum, posture and reconditioning

The method adds to the way you already work: physiotherapy, pelvic floor, postpartum recovery, abdominal function, postural control, reconditioning, training, Pilates and yoga. You add an identifiable methodology, with its own assessment system and progression, to the services you already offer.

What the training includes

More than 120 videos and a progression of over fifteen exercises during the course, with a theory guide, syllabus, slides and downloadable tests. Once you pass the exam you gain access to the review content, which you can keep using indefinitely.

The full syllabus, part by part

The official Hypopressive Method syllabus, divided into four parts and with a final exam. HAG1, the Base level, covers the fundamentals of the method and the initial exercise progression. HAG2, the Static level, adds the advanced positions and transitions and the complete guide to assessment tests. This training includes both levels.

Anonymous survey answered at the end of the course

4.1 out of 5 across 366 responses, with none discarded

The survey is answered at the end of the course and is anonymous: that is why the opinions carry no names. The texts you see are a selection; the average score is that of every response, with none discarded.

The best part is that the creator of the method himself teaches the classes, in recorded form. The videos are short and precise, and you can complement the theory with the documents provided.

Worth noting that everything is explained step by step as if it were an in-person class, and none of the videos leave you with doubts.

Deciding to take this course was absolutely the right call. Although at first I had doubts about doing it online, the truth is that the videos and explanations are so clear and visual that I have been delighted. I will recommend it to anyone considering it.

Anonymous response Satisfaction survey · November 2020

It is a course you can work through at your own pace, with plenty of time to complete it, and all of that without losing any quality in content or methodology. The videos are very good quality and the explanations clear and concise.

I have a baby and very little time, I studied at night, and having four months of access let me go at my own pace and give myself the time to take the knowledge in.

What stands out most is that, on a subject I knew almost nothing about, I have been able to understand everything, because the explanations were very clear.
